Modes of Study

PBC offers a number of different modes of study. To make our courses as available as possible classes operate both during the day and at night and some are available online.

Full Time

All of the courses offered by Perth Bible College can be undertaken on a full time basis as either a residential, or a non-residential student.

Full-time study is the best option for students who are looking to take some time out to spend in concentrated training. By enrolling in full-time studies students will gain the most out of the College community experience as they are able to dedicate themselves to the learning experience.

For Australian students full-time studies have an added financial advantage as students may be eligible for Austudy or Youth Allowance assistance.

Applications to study full-time can be received at any time up to the beginning of the relevant semester. The first semester begins in February and the second in July (see Academic Calendar).

Part Time

All subjects offered at Perth Bible College can be taken on a part-time basis.

Part-time study is the best option for students who cannot commit to a full-time study program but wish to work towards one of PBC’s awards. All subjects completed on a part-time basis carry credit towards our nationally-accredited awards. Part-time students are encouraged to experience as much of the College community as they are able to commit to – including lunches and growth groups.

Several subjects are offered at night (6:30-9:00pm) to cater for people who cannot attend units during normal working hours.

Flexible Learning

Perth Bible College is a flexible learning higher education provider. This means that students who cannot attend face-to-face classes can pursue their studies wherever they are. Except for the normal pre-requisites, all you need is a computer with an internet connection (preferably broadband).

Flexible learning options are available for every subject. If you can’t join us in class, you can join us live via zoom and engage with the class in real-time. Alternatively, if you can’t make your class, all classes are recorded so you don’t miss a moment.

All courses are available to be attended as a flexible learning option.
